Dr. Tiana Montell
Dr. Tiana Montell is a graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her undergraduate studies at UC Davis where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. During that time, she was also a UC Davis Division I collegiate gymnast and co-captain of the team.
Dr. Montell grew up in Hawaii and moved to North Carolina a few years ago. Prior to moving, she was the Medical Director of a multiple doctor practice in Oregon, where she saw numerous patients a day and managed the veterinary team. After relocating, she again was promoted to Medical Director at a practice in Cary, where she established a good relationship with many of her clients and patients.
Dr. Montell knew she wanted to be a veterinarian from a very young age and has always felt that she chose the right career. When seeing patients, she aims to develop a strong doctor-client relationship and to practice fear-free medicine. She has a special interest in geriatric pet care, dermatology and surgery. She has three dogs of her own; a 9 yr old Goldendoodle (Gracie) and two young American Bullies (Storm and Venom).
In her free time, she loves to spend time at the beach with her boyfriend and dogs. She also loves to fish, travel, and go out to eat.
